The direct express route number 9, ran by Crimea Trolleybus, connects Simferopol Airport with the city centre and Simferopol Rail Station. The service usually runs every 10-15 minutes in both directions, beginning around 6am and running until around half past midnight.
If you don’t want to take a taxi or a rental car, the number 9 trolley bus is the easiest transfer option from Simferopol Airport to the city centre. Additionally, the regular bus route 49 connects Simferopol Airport with the town centre, running every 10 minutes from 06:00 until 23:30.
Transfers beyond Simferopol
Travellers can reach the south coast towns of Alushta and Yalta from Simferopol Airport with the Crimea Trolleybus. The number 52 Trolleybus follows the E105 highway from Simferopol Airport to Alushta, before hugging the south coast, until the town of Yalta. Stretching more than 82km, the Trolleybus 52 is the longest Trolleybus route in the world.
The 52a Trolleybus follows the same route as the 52 as far as Alushta. Both the 52 and 52a run every 20-30 minutes during the day. Additionally, an intercity bus service runs frequently between Simferopol Airport and Sevastopol.
